One of my favorite things I learned in digital photography was the composition techniques and how I can use them in any photo. Whether it was lines rule of thirds, lines, or symmetry the composition techniques made my photos look better! Most of my favorite photos were taken after I thought to myself, "Can I use any type of composition here?" I had a very interesting experience every time I went out looking for pictures for my photo assignments. Some of my favorite pictures I got were from the photo assignments I just didn't realize it until after I took them. Weirdly I didn't feel like I was getting good pictures when I was actually getting some of my best ones! Photoshop was by far my favorite thing to do in this class because there are so many possibilities in Photoshop! You can take a normal picture and turn it into something interesting, you can take a bad picture and make it good, dark and make it light, etc. I had a lot of fun manipulating pictures to my liking and just getting lost in the near limitless options.

During this assignment we were tasked to find puns or a play on words and edit a picture that represented them. We also had to find and interesting word define it and edit images based around that. This project taught me a lot about blending images together and opacity. I also learned about editing text in photoshop which is very different from places like drive. Overall, I learned about placing and manipulating images in photoshop.
During this assignment we were tasked to take pictures of Still Life. I also had to use the camera in a way that supported the way I wanted the image to look. (Did not edit in photoshop) #6 f 3.5, 1/320, ISO 640 I learned about taking pictures of people and taking them in high light situations. I also learned about Shutter Speed because that was a large factor in what I had to adjust in my photos.
Our instructions were to complete two PS assignments given to us and then choose others and work on them through the week. http://www.be-rad.com/2014/09/03/quickly-copy-objects-in-photoshop/ I also used some tricks I learned from my past experience of photoshop. (You said to turn this one as proof I did try.) I learned a lot about almost all of the generic PS tools and even the less common ones. For example I learned how to duplicate specific parts of an image easily.
During this photo assignment I was tasked to take pictures of a meal or food in general in an interesting way and then adjust the photo in Photoshop. #6 #5 #4 #3 #2 #1 f 3.5, 1/20, ISO 640 During this assignment I learned a lot about framing and manipulating my position to my advantage. I also learned about adjusting the light so that it looks better.
My instructions were to take pictures of myself or another person in one set location and use the photoshop to make it appear like there were multiple versions of that person in the photo. I learned how to use a tripod and how to use photoshop to erase the background and reveal other photographs beneath that layer.
During this photo expedition I took photos of nature in different settings. I also had to edit the pictures I had taken and then post them here. #6 #5 #4 #3 #2 #1 f 2.6, 1/640, ISO 75 During this assignment I learned a lot about timing and execution when I first tried to take pictures they turned out to dark and it was hard to see the image so I tried earlier the next day.
During this assignment I used photos from previous weeks and edited them with a black and white filter and adjusted the lighting. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 f4.5 1/800 ISO 100 I also learned about exposure because when I was editing my photos I had to adjust it and set it so it looked better but I mainly used filters to adjust the coloring.
During this assignment I had to take 3 images to form 1 panoramic 5 times. Then use the photomerge tool to form the panoramic. I learned how to use the photomerge in photoshop and how to use a tripod during the assignment. I also tried to use my knowledge of locations around the school to my advantage.
During this weeks photo assignment I tried using manual and learned a lot. And my subjects tended to use light to their advantage because I figured if the light looked bad I could edit it in Photoshop which I did. #6 #5 #4 #3 #2 #1 f 2.8 1/160 ISO 160 I learned about adjusting my position based on the light and subject for a better picture. I also learned about adjusting colors and cropping in photoshop.
